Mission Statement
Our mission at Rainbow Connection Preschool is to provide your child a strong foundation for a Christian based education that feeds his curiosity and equips him for readiness into kindergarten. Our program offers a versatile developmental curriculum that encourages parent participation while at the same time emphasizes the value of education and fuels the child's desire to learn.

Philosophy
Developmental psychologists and learning theorists suggest that the attitudes of a child about self, others, and the world are well formed by the time of entry into the first grade. The school strives to communicate to all students their personal worth and that they are loved by God, their family, and friends. Woven into the whole experience will be the opportunity to develop intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Children are encouraged to become aware of their own feelings and emotions and to express them constructively with an emphasis on peaceful conflict resolution strategies. The adults involved will strive to guide the children and provide experiences which will promote positive growth and development.


Christian Values
Rainbow Connection is an extension of the ministry of Central Christian Church. We are committed to helping each child develop a Christian world view and understanding of God as Creator. Character values such as kindness, honesty, respect, and self-control are incorporated within the program. Weekly assemblies are held where a Bible story is taught that reinforces specific character traits. Children are encouraged to learn a memory verse that corresponds to each value.


Professional Staff
Central Christian Church intends to maintain a school that offers an education that commands the respect of the community, as well as to provide a Christian atmosphere. To that end, the Rainbow Connection teachers meet the following qualifications:

• Devoted Christians
• Bachelor or Masters Degrees in education or a related field
• Continuing child development training
